The popular fps mobile shooter Battleroyal by EA sports is now getting a confirmation directly from company officials for it’s mobile landing. Things depend of many situations to get the work done like PUBG Mobile, Call Of Duty Mobile. So, is same for Apex Legends too.
The popular game was only available in consoles like PS4, Microsoft Xbox One and Origin for PC. Recently the news came about it’s independent success of being downloaded over 70 million times over these platforms. Speaking of which, EA’s Chief Exclusive Officer Andrew Wilson confirmed that the popular game is coming soon on mobile platform too, very soon. He also revealed a date when the mobile gamers can expect a soft launch.
EA company have had their Q2 2020 Earnings Call on 29th of October. Company talked about the probability of it’s coming to mobile back then. “Apex Legends is a major long-term franchise for us, and since launch, we’ve significantly expanded the team working on the game and it continues to grow“, said Mr. Wilson.
“Our pipeline of future content is packed with really fun experiences that will be delivered through upcoming seasons and a regular cadence of updates for the community. With the Apex Lengends community now growing pass 70 million players, we are focused on expanding to mobile new platforms and new geographies, as well as launching and Apex competitive gaming program that we’ll share details on soon.“, he added further.
Wilson shared their desire of expanding the game further in future saying that they will be expanding Apex Legends in some other Countries. They set China as a primary target next though. However Andrew confirmed that the game will be available for mobile to play in 2021 fiscal year which possibly starts from 1st of October, 2020. Seems like players need to wait about only 12 months more or so.
