Realme teased Realme UI before update: what to expect; what are coming?

The popular Chinese brand Realme just posted a teaser video of their most anticipated custom Android skin, Realme UI. This custom UI has been anticipated among the Realme’s proud users from a long time. Now the company seems looking forward to the launch of it’s custom user interface.

On a Twitter post the company also revealed some of it’s highlighted features that are going to be included. Here we got to know about new home-screen management along with new logos and icons so far. It also confirmed that Realme UI will have notification center type design which is also similer to MIUI notification shade. Also, the consumer requested most important feature which is system wide Dark Mode will also be present on brand new Realme UI.

On the teaser video, we can see bunch of useful features like Smart Sidebar, Private Information Protection, Screen Off Display are being offered in the Realme UI. For pre-information, all the features, mentioned above, already exist on other popular Chinese brand. Xiaomi’s own MIUI already offers all the specific features at present time. While the Smart Sidebar is the same thing Xiaomi offers as Quick Ball. And the Private Information Protection and Screen Off Display are offered as Privacy Protection Password which is available on Password and Security settings and the Screen Off Display is offered as Always On Display.

Company also added Animated Wallpaper which is available on MIUI, Oxygen OS for a period of time. This feature is actually the Dynamic Wallpaer AKA live wallpaper on some other Android phones. And the last but not least, a new feature is added in Realme UI named, Dual Earphone Connection that basically allows the iser to connect two different earphones at the same time. To be noted, it’s not about same category earphones. Instead, user can connect a Bluetooth earphone and a wired earphone at the same time with one phone.

However, it was said that Realme UI will offer near to stock Android experience but it seems like it will be a more neat and cleaner UI, not a stock like UI like Oxygen OS. Currently all Realme phones are running on Color OS 7 or lower versions. All the phones will be updated to the Realme UI in near future. Company probably will start rolling out this update from late February, 2020.
