The most popular mid-range 5G smartphone by Xiaomi seems to arrive in India soon. Contries like US, China, UK and some other regions are currently running on 5G network while the rest of world is still on 4G network. Brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo and others have launched bunch of 5G phones in these countries and people are enjoying it. While the company was planning to launch it’s 5G models in India, a most important country that plays a major role for Xiaomi’s selling market.
On 9 January, 2020, BIS website has updated their portfolio and there was listed the Redmi K30 5G. A reliable souce firstly updated this news. The Redmi K30 has passed the BIS India certification with the model number M2001G7AI, the same version of Chinese K30 version. It definitely indicates toward the Indian launch of Redmi K30 5G.

The 5G model of K30 includes an IPS lCD panel that has smoother 120Hz frame rate and is 6.67 inch in dimension and has full HD+ resolution. The Chinese K30 5G is powered by Snapdragon 765G octa-core super efficient processor. It shoots beautiful photos with it’s 64+8+5+2 megapixel combined camera setup on rear side and two 20+2 megapixel camera combination on the front that sits in the hole punch of the 120Hz panel. The K30 5G is backed by high capacity 4500mAh battery. Not only that, it also has support for 30 watt super fast charging.
The Redmi K30 5G is priced at ¥1,999 (roughly ₹20,000) in China for the base model that is combined 6+64 GB memory and it goes higher to ¥2,299 (roughly ₹22,990) for 6+128 GB model, ¥2,599 (roughly ₹25,990) for 8+128 GB model and the highest memory model 8+265 GB is priced at ¥2,899 (roughly ₹28,990). Xiaomi also has confirmed that the K30 will make it’s arrival in early 2020 when launched in China.
