Xiaomi registered trademark for Poco F2; is the Poco F2 coming soon?

The long anticipated phone by Xiaomi seems to be on the way. After the successful and hullabaloo launch, company is approaching to their customers with a new surprise. Surprise is why because Xiaomi has been remaining silent after Poco F1 stepped in the market. But the new sub-premium Xiaomi lineup has made quite a big margin of popularly as profit as well as praise. Many of their users asked the company official personel when the next Poco lineup would come. But still they got a respiratory response. But now, it seems to be somewhat clear that company will continue their Poco flagship lineup in 2020.

When launched, Poco was targeted to hit not only Chinese market but also to overseas, especially in European countries. The cheapest Snapdragon 845 phone is still going strong.

Recently in 2019, Pocofone’s Global head Alvin Tse replied a Poco fan on Twitter who asked about Poco F2’s coming that “You’ll hear more in 2020”, referring the Poco. It then cleared all smog a bit and today it has been revealed in public. Some bloggers reported that the company has applied for the Poco F2 trademark. It can be now said that Xiaomi’s sub-premium flagship lineup Poco is neither dead, nor it is closed. We got an image for you.

We are not assuming it to be in just a month, instead it can take a few weeks, let’s say at least 3 months from now for the new Poco launch. Some of the users are considering as Poco skipped a year to launch a new phone, they will be using Snapdragon 865 chipset and it will be an affordable 5G phone. Some other leaksters saying Poco F2 will be powered by Snapdragon 765 processor. As Poco F1 was the cheapest SD845 phone, it would be most relevance if the second generation Poco comes with SD865 chipset. Rest things, let’s hope for the best.

The Poco F1 was launched in August, 2018, containing the best in time flagship chipset Snapdragon 845 with it. It was powered by Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor and backed by 4000mAh high capacity battery that also has the quick charge 3.0 technology. It runs on LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 type fast storage, available at that time. The camera segment is managed by 12+5 MP duel flagship camera sensor where the front side has 20 megapixel sensor by Samsung. There is also liquid cooling, IR face unlock and many more. The best and most highlighted thing was it’s price which made a huge noise in consumers. It was priced at only $250 (roughly ₹17,990 in time). Company is now selling the phone at just ₹15,000 in India.
